INTRODUCING
BLAZE BOYZ-CHOIR
AGES 6 AND UP
BLAZE BOYZ CHORUS is open to all boys whose voices have not yet "dropped" due to puberty. YACM Boys Choir offers boys a fun and unique music education experience.
Together boys will learn to perform contemporary and classical music with confidence. BLAZE BOYZ Choir is a dynamic performing troupe limited to 25 members. Participation in all performances is required. Auditions are Open for the 2022-23 Season.

OPERA AND THEATER SCENES
AGES 10 AND UP
Students study a scene or a group of scenes from an Opera, or Theater production. Participants will rehearse all aspects of the scene including acting, stage blocking, and vocal interpretation. Character development and dramatic engagement are essential to the development of those who will perform repertoire from Scenes Classes.

BEL CANTO
AGES 12 AND UP
"Bel Canto" is translated "beautiful voice". In this choral class, vocalists study the techniques, music and styles that support the most powerful and beautiful expressions the human voice can create in song.
Phrases are long, breath is deep, and tones soar to blend harmonies that carry a feeling of etherial melodrama to listeners. Bel Canto Choir is the highest discipline of collaborative singing at YACM. Bel Canto performances may include individual pieces of vocal repertoire, a vignette from an Opera, or liturgical mass.
