Juan Carlos Entrambasaguas holds a M.M. in Saxophone Performance from the
University of the Arts Helsinki (Sibelius Academy of Finland) and a B.M. in
Saxophone Performance from the Salamanca Conservatory of Music in Spain. He
has performed many concerts as a soloist, as well as part of different chamber music
ensembles through Spain, Finland, Norway, Croatia and Denmark.
Juan Carlos has a wide variety of teaching and group managing experience at a
conservatory level. Although his work has been primarily in Europe, he has recently
toured the United States, where taught masterclasses and performed at
Shenandoah University in Winchester VA, American University Washington DC, and
Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Recently, he was a semifinalist in the
prestigious International Saxophone Competition Josip Nochta, held in Zagreb.

stimulating educational environment where they can grow. I provide them with the
necessary tools to reach their full potential and help them along the learning path”
Juan Carlos is excited by the prospect of bringing his background in saxophone and
clarinet performance and experience as a creative arts educator at the Young Artists
Conservatory of Music.
